"Rode this one for the first time this AM in waist-chest high mush with a few meatier peaks/sections from time to time. I swore I was only going to go and catch a dozen waves before work and wound up having to take a half-day and walked in during lunch break. Stupid fun. Catches waves easily, super fast, so easy to beat sections, comes off the top well for such a wide board, so easy to do long connecting floaters and even pop airs and even do rotations. Definitely a small-wave slayer and a longboard killer."

Eastcoastsurfer.com is the official NJ surf report of Gallery Surfboards. Professor Sak provides what I call, the "thinking surfer's forecast". He presents you the forecast scenario with it's possibilities, gives you the likely outcome, but also shows you what to watch for so that you can make your own educated decisions on where and when to attack, based on our rapidly changing weather patterns. The professor honed his prognosticating skills down on the Gulf Coast where their window of opportunity is even shorter and more fragile than ours. Those of you who don't want to think and don't want to be prepared can go check Surflie. I'll follow the professor to score the best conditions possible.

If you see me out in the water, chances are the professor is nearby, he's not only my forecaster of choice, but also my best surf buddy and part of the Gallery Crew. The first sequence below is the Professor ripping on his Mike Daniel Coil. In the second sequence, he's tearing up some marginal surf on a Gallery RTQ (round tail quad).
